Removing Cat Urine Odor From Carpet
How do you remove pet odors from the wood floor under my carpet before I replace with new carpet? (urine)?
I had a dog and cat that was old and always had “accidents”. The smell is STRONG! I want to replace the carpet but not without removing the odor that has absorbed into the wood. Thanks!
Remove the old carpet and pad. Let it air a couple of days and then use this stuff called Kiltz. It is in the paint department of any hardward store. You paint the floor with it just like you would a wall. There is also pad that has an that you can buy that helps with the odors from animals and helps with the bacteria.
