What is a good way to clean carpet to remove the smell of cat urine.?
Me and my girlfriend just move in to a has the smells like cat urine also the carpet feel like there is a film of grease or dirt on top of the carpet. I shampooed once all ready with a store bought unit. what else can i do to clean the carpet and remove the smell.
the smell is in the carpet padding, it will take more than one cleaning to help the smell. Shampoo rug again and add vinegar to the hot water to help resolve the smell. Vinegar is a odor eliminator.
